1. Review Existing Documentation and Develop a Project Plan

2. Prepare Documentation

3. Develop Contract

Develop a contract and have it reviewed by an experienced legal expert, containing:

  2. Milestone dates for phased development

4. Request Quotes & Evaluate Responses

Obtain proposals for undertaking the development, evaluate the team, software and project management processes, and confirm their track record.

5. Project Management and Governance

Provide ongoing review of the Software Contractor’s progress through access to JIRA or equivalent system.

Ensure sprints are being conducted to ensure risks in the project are reduced, and on-time delivery is guaranteed.

Manage issues and risk registers on a fortnightly basis.

Ensure documentation, experimental results, and expense tracking is being maintained.
